If I recall correctly from a previous thread, you're still on OS 9, yes?
Is it possible you might be able to script another image editor (or
QuickTime) to do what you're asking Photostitch to do?
If not...
I would recommend KeyQuencer to help automate Photostitch, but it doesn't
seem to be available anymore... which leaves you with OneClick ($) or
QuicKeys ($$), both of which offer similar capability.
Or, there may (?) be a combination of scripting additions that will do
what you want.
I've used KeyQuencer to build some very useful AS / KQ macros to 'script'
a variety of functions in Photoshop 3.05... which has no dictionary
either. You might write to Alessandro Montalcini, the creator of
KeyQuencer, and see if he won't still sell you a copy. (I have no
affiliation with KQ whatever... but I've never used the other products.)
