Greetings,
I've been very nfused tonight. Safari, when prompted with:
tell application "Safari"
[snip]
set n to the number of windows
Returns 2 more windows than are open.
When zero, it returns 2. When 5, it returns 7.
The workaround is pretty obvious. Is this behavior normal? Consistent?
Erik,
I just tried the same thing on my machine (10.3.4, Safari 1.2.2
(v125.8)), with Safari returning the correct number of open windows. I
can think of two things that would cause this, though...
First, do you have any (specifically, two) windows minimized to the
dock?
Second, I noticed that the Downloads and Activity windows count towards
this total. Maybe those are open?
