  • Thread-topic: Xserve and Dell KVM problems

Hello. We've just got an Xserve and are now trying to get it to play
nice with the rest of our nearly all Dell environment. We have a Dell
KVM 6162, which uses PS/2 connections. When we purchased the USB
adaptor from Dell, we are unable to see the Xserve on the common
monitor, or have any access via keyboard or mouse. If we bypass the
keyboard, we get video, but very erratic mouse activity. Anybody out
there have suggestions? My network folk really want the Xserve to fit
into this switch. We could use remote management (something I'd prefer
as the main user and admin of the Xserv) but they prefer using their
KVM.

Thanks!
