That works out to 0.088ms per call on my machine.

I use the GetMilliSec osax all the time for various speed tests - in Script Debugger, in various script-runners like QuicKeys and FastScripts...

But when I'm seriously speed testing scripts I switch to SMILE and use the chrono function.
