You could script iTunes to open the drive, but why don't you check out this free Griffin Technology utility instead. <http://www.griffintechnology.com/downloads/software/current/iMate_OS9_eject_key_10.sit> They intended it for keyboards that didn't have an eject key.

Sorry to pop in the thread (maybe I'm fully irrelevant here), but IIRC Apple had released an "Eject CD" module for ... how do you call that ... you know the weird strip that you use to connect to the Internet etc.
