At 02:16p -0600 03/02/2004, Chap Harrison didst inscribe upon an electronic papyrus:

How do I make a script find out its own path?

A few websites have suggested 'path to me' but on my system (OS X) that returns the location of the Script Editor rather than the script file itself.

Only applications can get their own path; script documents cannot.

If your script document needs support files, consider placing them in a known location, such as Application Support or whatever is appropriate to the situation.
