...and while I'm brainstorming:

Templates:
The editor could ship with basic flowchart templates, covering things like event loops, scripting/plug-in APIs, etc.

Lines:
The flowchart lines/arrows could start out thin for undefined, and become thick after the "gezintas" are put in.

Labels/Colors:
Blocks and lines could have labels/colors assigned, to indicate such things as level of completion.

Annotations:
Blocks and lines could have annotations (comments) attached.

Dual-save:
When saving a program, the editor would automatically save 2 files: the annotated "editing" file, and the smaller "distribution" file. Kind of like how Xcode was hyped about the step it rendered obsolete.
