The problem I'm having is that all other events besides 'add items'
don't seem to do anything at all...
Any experience with the following? I can't get them to respond:
on removing folder items from this_folder after losing these_items
-- insert actions here
end removing folder items from
on opening folder this_folder
-- insert actions here
end opening folder
on closing folder window for this_folder
-- insert actions here
end closing folder window for
on moving folder window for this_folder from original_bounds
-- insert actions here
end moving folder window for
I think Apple mad a big mistake by releasing folder action (and even
promoting them!!!) before they were ready. A workflow item like folder
action is only any-good when it works 100%. For someone who tried to
use FA's throughout 10.2 and now having difficulties with 10.3, folder
actions don't appear to be a viable option any more.
However, I am writing an AppleScript book and would like to get all the
FA events to run at least once before I write about them :-|
