Describe a way to set your $PATH environment variable as you log in to OS neXt. That's quite different from typical UNIX login which executes login or profile scripts.
You can create a directory and file $HOME/.MacOSX/environment.plist and set a path, that AppleScript will honor, there. Ask off line if you'd like a sample file. It's easier to use a text editor than to learn about Apple's plist editor for this small job.
