short version of (info for foo)

--> "6.2.7"

long version of (info for foo)

--> "AppleWorks 6.2.7 for Mac OS X Copyright Apple Computer, Inc. 1991-2003"

For mail.app, long version returns "missing value" but short version returns "1.3.7"
