Entity Uli Zappe spoke thus:
"eppc://<user>:@<computer>.local"
nor
"eppc://<user>@<computer>.local"
work.

What about nouser specified?

eppc://Gnarlodious-Cube.local

That wouldn't work, either, since, after all, OS X *is* a multi-user system.

"eppc://<computer>.local" again brings up the authorization panel asking for user and password, and again leaving the password empty won't work (same error message).

Bye
Uli
