Acrobat 6 and Compatibility Problems

  • Subject: Acrobat 6 and Compatibility Problems

Hello,

I have a script that builds Single PDFs from multiple PDFs then uploads them
to a website. I use save command in Acrobat 6 and OS X 10.3.

The problem comes up with older version of Acrobat and downloading. They
error out when trying to download from a link. And the only way to get it to
work is to have them save the PDF to a file then have Acrobat open it up.

I guess I have to save it to an older version of PDF say 5.0. Is this
possible via AppleScript and Acrobat 6 or is there another option? Should I
use Acrobat 5.0 via classic?

Thanks,

Jason Bourque
