Hi,
I am using the application called 'QuarkXPress' on Mac. QuarkXpress
supports apple script. I have an extension software that I use on this
quarkxpress called 'Yours Truly Designer'. Yours Truly Designer adds
as a menu item on the menu bar in QuarkXpress.
Can I use AppleScript on this menu item 'Your Truly Desinger'(YTD)
also? I do not know whether YTD supports AppleScript. How do I find
out?

Regards,
Nandini

Hi Nandini,

I've not heard of the particular extension, so I can't comment on whether or not its AppleScriptable. However, if it's not directly scriptable then I'd suggest that you investigate GUI Scripting.

More info here; http://www.apple.com/applescript/uiscripting/

Hope that's of some help.
