Which means we end up having phone support conversations like the one I had
this morning:
"To get an 'e' with a hat on it? First hold down the option key and press
the 'i' key, then let go of the option key and press 'e'...No, that's the
command key -- the option key is the one with 'alt' written on it. No, I
don;t know why they didn't label it 'Option' either...Yes, perhaps I should
have just called it the alt key..."
I've finally managed to get most of our Institute calling it "the tuning
fork" -- possibly the high point of my otherwise futile existance :-)
