Prevent control key "run or quit" dialog

OS 9

With a Run Only script you can hold the Control key down to display a "Run or Quit" dialog. Anyone aware of a way to prevent this?

I tried making it background only (resource -> SIZE -> Background = 1), but the dialog still "appears" (app is hidden, so you only hear the beep and the app stays open). At least, that's what I think is happening.

What I have is a scheduled script (during log out) and students have found this behavior which halts the log out process and lets them get around security. The behavior being, of course, to hold the control key down when this script is launched.

Any insights appreciated.
