I can't help out a lot other but here's my attempt.
You've probably already looked, but I thought I'd mention this anyway.
Try looking at the scripts on this page:
<http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnigraffle/extras/>
The second one down creates a CD label from a CD or iTunes playlist. The
script will put either a JPEG or PNG file on the cover for you.
There are several links to the script author's page. You might try
contacting one of the authors.
