Because you haven't gotten any responses in a few hours, I decided to send
you something even though it doesn't directly answer your question.

Resorcerer is good, but I think it's a shame that after the amount of time
that has passed since its OS X release some of the editors in the OS X
version still complain that you have to use the classic version. If you have
the Developer tools installed, there are some mighty handy resource editing
tools available. I have a couple of useful scripts that you may want to use
as examples in the theme customization tools that I include with my
Pillowtalk-Sky theme. They use the Developer Tools executables like Rez,
DeRez, and Resmerger.
