Perfect...exactly what I was looking for. I had figured this out months ago, but promptly forgot. Seems counterintuitive that a simple tell database "database_name" doesn't do the trick. Thanks for the refresher.

Does anyone know how to bring a FileMaker database to the front.

This works for me:

tell application "FileMaker Pro"

    activate

go to window "Database Name" -- change accordingly

end tell
