I've used the "mysql4applescript" package that was originally released (it uses do shell script a lot to talk to the mysql front end and thence to the mysql deamon--sounds slow, but works ok) The version I've got has been adequate to my needs, though I think there are some stubbed-out bits here and there. I haven't made any changes to it, but would also be interested in any enhancements that Hamish mighth have made.

Is widbey.com anywhere near Widbey Island, Puget Sound? (just curious)

I'm interested in interfacing AS with MySQL. The creator of a package called "mySQL4AppleScript" told me he's not maintaining it anymore but that somebody called Hamish has enhanced it.

Would appreciate any tips on tracking this down, or any other alternative interfaces between AS and MySQL. _______________________________________________
