iMagine Video can read and write a much larger range of image metadata than Image Events. iMagine Video's functionality is far more powerful than that of Image Events providing greater flexibility for scaling, cropping and rotating images.
iMagine Video provides functionality for compositing shapes, lines and text onto images. iMagine Video can also apply various Quicktime image filters to images and video frames.
iMagine Video can composite video frames and create movies providing a way to scale, crop and rotate movies. iMagine Video can also be used to add text to or watermark each frame of a video.
iMagine Video can composite images taking into consideration the transparency information stored in the image's alpha channel and can blend images or combine images using various graphics modes. iMagine Video can create images with transparency.
iMagine Video can also be used for automating blue-screen or chromakey image and video processing.
