Clearly, System Events has got its knickers in a twist here. Of course the
disk is ejectable, just like a CD (which System Events does recognise as
ejectable).

To further muddy the waters, the following gives the 'correct' result:

tell application "System Events"
    ejectable of disk "nourish" of application "Finder"
end tell

What's going on, AS gurus?
