finding the last used app

  • Subject: finding the last used app

hi all,

i'm despairingly searching for a method to find out the last used application. the reason is that i run scripts with the tool "xkeys". but as a result after running the scripts the recently used app isn't activated any more. that is sometimes confusing.

therefore i want to add a switch-back-method to the scripts but the last used app can be arbitrary and the active app while the script is running is always "system events" and not (for example) mail.

greetings
ERICH
