promising - especially the xspell osax since it apparently uses OS X's own spellchecker which is much better than this stuff.

I do confirm that it's using OS X's spelling system, for those interested, the osax contains a bundle written in Cocoa that is called from Carbon because Carbon has not been provided (yet ?) a way to use the spelling system. (It would be a good way for Carbon apps developer to integrate Mac OS X's spelling system in their apps)
