See 'man find' for details, but you probably want something like:
find / -name "filename" -print
( It will take quite a while if you run it on the root directory.
You'll also get a bunch of permission denied messages if you
run it on root, so you might want to 'sudo' it to avoid that.
There is also 'locate', but I think you need to have built the
database first. )
