problem Quark->opening fonts

I have the following problem.
i' am working in System 10.3.5
1. Quark 6.1 is already opened
2. I open a fontset in Suitcase X1
3. then I open a document in Quark
If I look at the used fonts, all the fonts are missing.
In OS 9.2 and Quark 5.01 and Suitcase 10 I don't have this problem.
So Quark 6.1 doesn't recognise that those font are active before opening a document.
Quark is becoming a pain in the a|s|s (read it without | ) and they don't give any support for apple-scripting it also.
