Didn't say it was. I was pointing out what sysadmins learn the hard way so
that others don't. That things like email headers are not inherently
trustworthy or reliable, and should not be thought of as such, since at
least one person, therefore a few others, seemed to be making that
assumption.

And all the points those packets travel between you, apple's servers, and
everyone on the list? There's a dozen points where things can go wrong.
That's my point...don't assume email headers are correct if real world data
says otherwise.
