How to change screen solution?

Hi there,

Haven't done much Applescripting for a long time and one of the things that I am interested to find out is if there's a way to change the screen resolution.

I think I look into it in Mac OS 8 but the Monitor control panel was not scriptable.

What about Mac OS X?  Any built-in support for that?  I am in X.3.5 now.
