... i work with two lists of strings. i store these lists in a file on disc ... however, the file produced this way is not human readable or even editable ... so how can i write the lists to a pure, lets say, comma seperated text file? and how can i read them back in a robust manner?

Go to '<http://applescript.250free.com/saving_lists.html#top>' for two examples of the many possible ways, to get you started.

The examples a 'return' as a text separator for simplicity.
