Hello,

I'm trying to open a message in "Mail" that I allready have the message id for.

tell application "Mail"
tell inbox
open (every message where message id is "email@hidden")
end tell
end tell

it takes FOREVER, but succedes. My inbox has approx 2500 messages, but lot's of attachments, looks like it has to go thru the whole mailbox. Shouldn't this be in some sort of cache?

If I remove the "every" word it fails with

Can't get message whose message id = "email@hidden".

Shouldn't this work as well?

I'm sure this worked better before I installed OS X 10.3.5.

Regards,
