Okay, so while judicious HTML is okay, jacking the font size in

a tad offputting.
Remember, with HTML email, less is more.
Please remember that I stated I was experimenting for the first time
with
posting formatted text to the list; I would not have sent a second at
the
same format sizes had I been able to see the first beforehand (it was
delayed due to moderator approval of size).
The script I built was towards the end of seeing the results, and
knowing
fully I would need to have an alternate size/color scheme to avoid
offending
list members.
That said, I don't know how some of you folks can read the tiny text I
see
come through in messages. I'm, staring at a trio of high-end 19"
Mitsubishi
CRTs set at 1280x960, and anything under 12-14pt is just plain
uncomfortable
to read; I can struggle through with 10-11 point, but I tire quickly
unless
I press my face too close to the screen, in which case I then get glare
fatigue.
By what percent was my post too large, or, what point size do people
prefer
to see, so that I may accommodate in future?
JA (who really prefers plain text, but sees the merits of RTF when
posting
scripts)
The font size should be determined by the viewer, not by the poster.
Don't set the font size at all. The same goes for the font typeface.
