Can't launch Script Debugger after system crash...

I just posted the following query to Script Debugger support, but perhaps
someone here has also encountered this problem...
I just got the dreaded OS X greyed-out screen and panel telling me to
restart in several languages.
Script Debugger was running when this happened, and now that I've restarted,
it won't launch. The splash screen is displayed, then an error dialog pops
up over it bearing this unhelpful (to me) message:
"Couldn't successfully startup or quit the application because the file was
not found.
Result code = -43"
Can the problem be fixed without my having to re-install the software? If
so, how?
