I wonder if it's possible to sense the condition of a key - OPTION for instance - so that the procedure for setting the properties would be to hold down the OPTION key while dragging the master file to the script icon. That would allow dragging multiple files for actually changing the codes.

Can System Events do that? How about dragging with the right button of an Intellimouse?
