Hi Pete,
thanks for your answer, but there is no hidden file that have .background in its
name * - or have this name. (And I found no visible trick either from
AppleScript or from a BASIC I'm also using)
For the record:
To set a background image in a Folder, it is as simple as
a. Command-J (View Presentation Info tool bar),
b. Click in the Image RadioButton,
c. Click in the Choose button (b and c: bottom of the windoid)
d. Select an image to be used as the folder background image.
I also searched in the Universal Headers but without success.
If I am able to do it manually, there is a solution to make this automatically...
The Quest continue,
Emile

I (tried to) read the Finder dictionary, but without success.
Did anyone know how I can do it using AppleScript ?
I seem to remember that you have to create a ".background" file/folder with the
image. A quick look didn't reveal any pertinent details.
Doing it with AppleScript is simply a question of copying the right file to the
right folder with the right names... :-)
Pete
* I have created simple program and displays the folder contents (item name,
item creation date and item size or count) using REALbasic.
