I have posted a new version of FastScripts. This version includes support for a new "on screen display" functionality. This feature is accessible to any script whether executed by FastScripts or not.

Basically "on screen display" means "slick looking self-dismissing text messages." This is especially useful for quick status communication or for scripts like "show me the name of the current iTunes track."

If anybody has been using, for instance, LanOSD, but been annoyed that you have to update it every few days to keep using it, you might find the new support I've built into FastScripts is a good replacement.

This release also adds an easy keyboard modifier for quickly setting keyboard shortcuts on scripts in the menu.
