Title: OS 9: Automatic capture of text in a window
Hi,
I've been told that there used to be an AppleScript extension (under OS 9) which can be used to intercept all the text that is sent to a window of an application (inclusive of font information) and store it in a log file. Has anybody heard of this?
I would like to extract a large number of text pages produced by an OS 9 program and all other methods have so far failed. (Yes, there is a "save" command - but it doesn't save the contents in the same format as it is displayed on screen and it's absolutely necessary for what I need to do that the font/colour information is preserved.)
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
Sebastian
