That's not it. I've checked none of the Option boxes. The AppleScript
does its thing, the Shell Script does its thing and _it_ exits. but the
AppleScript just sits there. If I bring it to the front to that I get
its name in the menu bar, and put my cursor over the name, I get the
spinning pizza - can't quit it from the menu bar. Have to kill the
process.
Thanks,

Subject: Exiting from an Applescript
This just has to be one of those well DUH questions with an obvious
answer, but I'm sure not seeing it, and I'm tired of been beating my
head against the wall.
I have a simple one-line applescript, saved as an application, that
launches a shell script. I want to put that applescript in my list
of start-up things in the Accounts Prefs pane.
I've done that, and it works just fine - EXCEPT that after running
the shell script, it doesn't quit or exit. It just hangs there. In
fact it will hang there forever or until I drop into the terminal and
use the kill command on it.
What do I need to do to make it exit/quit after it has done its thing?
