Hi,
talking about Spotlight (the one who never finds)...
I discovered that the second PopupMenu of the Find window have a weird behavior:
set the first PopupMenu to Name,
click in the second PopupMenu and watch how many entries are checked (start with
+ contents)...
That can explains some running (searching) misfeats...
But that is so obvious that I am asking myself what are doing the testing people
(inside Apple and seeded developpers)... As usual critics are easier than work :)
Cheers,
Emile

Entity Emile Schwarz uttered this profundity:
IMHO - Tiger is the worst OS I ever saw from Apple ?
Me too. Finding a file is not Finder's forte anymore. They shoulda named it
"Loser" instead of "Finder".
I'm mounting the disk AFP and using Finder on 10.3 to find files on Tiger.
Pretty Ironic.
