Sorry, I haven't been paying attention to this thread. But AppleScript does
have closures; my book explains how to form one (and the new edition will
explain it a lot better, since I've learned a trick or two about this since
last time), and (although I hate to invoke authority) I've just been talking
to the guys who wrote AppleScript originally and *they* say it has closures.
So I think denying it is kind of pointless. I'll check into the details of
this thread in a few days when I have some more time. m.
