| When creating a new outgoing message, the outgoing message has an ID, but when replying to, forwarding, or redirecting a message, the outgoing message does not have an ID.
tell application "Mail" set foo to messages of message viewer 1 whose subject contains "testing the script" repeat with bar in foo (reply bar with opening window) end repeat bar end tell
The result pane is blank, and the Event Log shows nothing in response to the line "bar".
