I think we all do. In this case the overriding reason is that what *I* want to do is impossible in vanilla AppleScript.


This just boils down to whether you appreciate the power of regular expressions or not. If you don't, then you'll certainly find no use for the script :) If you do, or if somebody you change your mind, then feel free to use the script!
