The question is what helper app *you* have in mind. I'm just saying that if
it were me, facing the known fact that AppleScript isn't multi-threaded, I'd
just write a helper app myself. You're facing a difficult timing problem
here. You don't want to perform the next step until the whole file has
downloaded from the camera - perhaps not until *all* the files have
downloaded from the camera - and AppleScript is probably not well suited to
this sort of thing. m.
