It is definitely the case that in the past, you could use "attachment" to add an attachment to a mail message, but not to retrieve it. It's always been in the dictionary, but I think that's what the bit about "mainly used for make commands" was about.


Anyways, it's a treat to hear that it's usable for incoming mail now. Pity that Apple didn't bother to release-note the availability of such a long-sought feature.
