What happened to date in Tiger??

  • Subject: What happened to date in Tiger??

Hi folks,

I am moving to Tiger, and am having trouble...

In Brazil we use date like this 26.08.2005

So Script editor under Panther will compile

date "26.08.2005"

to

date "Saturday, 20 August, 2005 12:00:00 AM"

But under Tiger I get "invalid date and time 26.08.2005"

My Filemaker apps work Ok after I changed the settings on System Preferences > International to 26.08.2005, but applescript still returns me errors..

Any clues how I should fix all my scripts to work in Tiger?

Thanks!

Bernardo Höhl
