turn on Remote Apple Events remotely?

  • Subject: turn on Remote Apple Events remotely?

Does anyone have any cool tricks for turning on Remote Apple Events
remotely? For example, suppose I want to script an app on my Mac remotely,
but I don't want Remote Apple Events turned on all the time because it is a
simple username/password login (and because, as Martin Orpen points out,
this lets anyone see what apps are running on my machine without a
password). So I might enable ssh instead, which can use much more secure
public/private keys. Okay, so now I log in to my machine remotely using ssh;
now what? How might I get Remote Apple Events turned on from here? Thx - m.
