Apologies for getting even more OT... but as we've one or two Tcl/Tk folks in the room, just wondering if they'd know how to handle Apple events in a Tk-based app?

Apologies, maybe wasn't clear enough: the challenge is to handle _incoming_ Apple events in a Tkinter-based app. Event handlers install as usual via Carbon.AE.AEInstallEventHandler(), but the app crashes when those events are sent to it. Though if the Alpha application provides a scripting interface then there may well be some clues to be had from digging about in that - I've passed the suggestion on.
Many thanks,
