I need to find and replace the ? character in Quark 6.5. I have done successful replace scripts before using this form:
set (every text where it + "x") to "y"
I have tried making x both "x?" and ("x" & (ascii character 63)) but neither are working. In both cases the ? is treated as a wildcard rather than a character.
Can someone tell me how to escape the question mark in find and replace scripts for Quark 6.5?
This is a really hard answer to search for since ? is used as a wildcard in most list searches as well!
thanks,
Alex
