Opening a remote FileMaker file?

How to I tell FileMaker Pro to open a remote filemaker file that is being served by filemaker?

If I manually enter it into the filemaker pro 8 open remote dialog I get the following url syntax:

fmnet://192.168.1.1/filename

I'm trying to launch filemaker and open to this particular file.
