Hello List,

I made a terrible mistake yeasterday and should apologise.

In my small company I make gypsums and other plasters for Dental and Jewellery use.

I sell packages containning 12, 13, 14 or 16 kilos, depending on the density of the product, and for a long time my customers (resellers) have asked me to make a one standart size package for all gypsums.

This is what I am starting to do this next year, and I was very concerned that some people (resellers) might "give away" 16 kg packages as 12Kg packages.

I have separate Databases for people who visit my site, for people who I have invoiced, but I was concerned with those that have ever written me an email, and not present in these databases. I was conecerned that these changes could cause people to lose money.

So I wrote a script to capture from my address book those who I have ever replied an email. Not those in my Mail.app.

I was stupid, very stupid, my routines even sent an email to "email@hidden".

Please forgive me for being stupid and sending you my stupid SPAM, I did not try to sell you VIAAAAGRA or any other stupid item, I only wanted to alert some people of the changes in my product line.

Forgive me,

Bernardo Höhl
Rio de Janeiro - Brazil

PS: I wrote Dave a nasty frase because he was very unpolite with me. I won't post here was he wrote me.

I would say that some SPAM agent is harvesting email addresses from this list and pretending that it came from users on the list.

No, Bernardo has admitted he sent the spam.
