Good Day,
For a few years now I have been scripting 90% of the layout for some research reports. One of the scripts I use searches for a QuarkXPress paragraph style, copies the filename (tagged with the paragraph style) and then imports and places the referenced EPS file on the right hand side of a QuarkXPress page, in its own appropriately sized picture box. Each EPS file has a static width and a variable height. I then manually take the chart and place it in the column where it flows with the text.
You can probably guess where I'm going with this. My question is probably relatively simple, for some, but I'd like to modify my script so that the chart is placed where it belongs,
in the column surrounded by text. I believe I have a fairly complicated way to accomplish this, but does anyone have an easy suggestion I may have overlooked?
I can certainly provide script snippets, if necessary. Please also let me know if any of the above is confusing or misleading. Thanks in advance.
Dana Hill
