Or you could try some of the utilities posted at macscripter.net
(www.macscripter.net).
for example, iTunes Music Alarm Clock (a misleading title tho' it
really started as a basic music alarm) is loaded with utilities to
manage file tracks, including gathering and deleting duplicates.
